Hazel: Hot Apple Pie with Cinnamon Butter Drizzle

This sweet girl was rescued off the streets in Amritsar, India. She was found cowering under cars because not only were other dogs picking on her, but also people were hitting her with sticks and throwing water at her because she was a "Pit Bull.”

The locals threatened to poison her and no one was feeding her so she was skin and bones. Her skin was covered in sores and she was just in poor condition overall. Thankfully, the team from Pawsitive Sanctuary took her back to their shelter where they got blood work done and gave her food.

Hazel is being medically treated for her skin condition and eating enough to get to a normal weight. She’s still decompressing and becoming more vocal as her energy peaks. It will take awhile for Hazel to learn how to be socialized so we will take it slow with her, but how can you resist that face? Welcome, Hazel!
